Year’s End Update (2021)

Another year is coming to a close, so it’s time to review everything that I’ve accomplished this year, as well as go over some things to expect in 2022.

First and foremost, I released two albums this year – Reawakening by Ebon Arcanum, and Northern Winds & Winter Hymns by Northsong. These two albums wrapped up phase one of my planned releases, which also included 2020’s Shadowforge EP.

For next year, I’m still continuing work on albums for all three of these same projects. Two of these albums are still in their first stages, as I’m still writing the songs for them. The third isn’t necessarily “new” material, but it will still sound as if it is. If you’ve watched my preview video for phase two, you can probably figure out what this album will be if you’re a long-time listener of my music.

Aside from these main three releases, I also have a “mini-album” planned too, and Gravelord has some more material in the works as well. Of course, I’ll divulge more information about everything as I make progress throughout the year.

Speaking of album releases, I’m also changing the way releases are done. In the past, I originally made my albums Bandcamp exclusive for a period of time, and then put them up on other platforms like iTunes and Spotify later. Now, I plan to just put them up everywhere at the same time. That means you’ll be able to pre-save upcoming albums on Spotify, and you’ll be able to stream them from day one!

And that concludes this update. Thanks for bearing with me through the last couple years, and I hope you’ll stick around for what’s to come!
