Vinlander is the third single from Northsong’s upcoming album, “Northern Winds & Winter Hymns“.
Like “Thunderous” or “Desperation”, Vinlander is another full-throttle song that takes the usual epic atmosphere of Northsong and throws it in a blender with high speed brutality. It immediately gets your blood pumping and throws you right in the midst of a bloody battle.
I admit this song is a bit silly lyrically, as it speaks of the modern United States as we know it today as a grand fantasy-esque land, described by a citizen of this ‘mysterious’ nation few have heard of. He is The Vinlander, and he has come to other Viking settlements to spread the word of his home country, the banner of which he carries proudly. Take a look:

Granted, “Vinland” as the Vikings called it included lands beyond today’s US borders, but again, the lyrics are just for fun – and overall the song is still kickass enough to take seriously!
