As revealed long before, the new Northsong album will be titled “Northern Winds & Winter Hymns”. I also recently announced that the recording for the new album is completely finished. Now, I want to share the full tracklist of the upcoming album.

You may recognize some of the song titles from the 2013 EP, “Forgotten Tales”. This EP was originally released to preview what was to come in Northern Winds & Winter Hymns. The album versions are completely re-recorded and brought up to a new standard. A couple of them even have composition changes – Forgotten Tales is a little shorter because I cut out some of the “fluff”, and Thunderous has a new ending.

Titan, a bonus track from “Winter’s Dominion: 5th Anniversary” also makes a reappearance. It of course is also a re-recorded version. The new versions of the songs you’ve heard before have been improved so immensely that they’ve become whole new experiences, as if you’re listening to them for the first time all over again. Even still, you’ll get eight more brand new songs!

I’m still in the process of properly mixing and mastering the album, but I’m working at it little by little every day. By now I’m at the point where I just have to make small adjustments rather than large, drastic changes. Hopefully I’ll have an announcement ready by next week, but we’ll see.
