March is nearly at an end, so I feel that now would be a good time to release a quarterly update to catch everyone up on what I’m working on now and what’s to come.
First and foremost, my most recent release “Reawakening” as Ebon Arcanum is still in the process of being distributed to Spotify and other online platforms. You can take a look at my previous blog post to read more details.
The next major release I’m working on is Northsong’s “Northern Winds & Winter Hymns“. As I’ve mentioned a few times before, the instrument recordings have been finished for awhile, I just need to record the vocals as well as mix and master everything once finished. This album has been in development for quite some time. It is, and will be, my top priority until the day it’s released.
About 1/4 of this album’s vocal recordings has been completed since I initially announced it in August 2020, and all 3 of my other current projects have released something since then. Northsong is the absolute last project of mine that needs to produce something during this current release cycle before I move into the next one. You can check out another blog post of mine that explains my current predicament – though my conditions will change for the better fairly soon.
Lastly, follow-up albums for Ebon Arcanum and Shadowforge are well underway as part of the next release cycle. Gravelord and Northsong have some early drafts in the works as well. Even though it’s far too early to estimate when anything from this cycle will be ready, so far it looks like either Ebon Arcanum or Gravelord will be first in line.
