It’s been nearly a month before my last update, but don’t worry – there’s still much going on behind the scenes here. New music for all my projects are still in development, and I’ve been spending the last month or so making new sounds, testing new VST plugins, and trying new mixing and recording techniques. I even upgraded some PC components to expedite the whole music-making process.
Let’s take a look at what I’ve done this year. Since June, I’ve…
- launched this website and gathered my various projects under one roof.
- got all my music on Spotify and other services, and paved the way to do the same with future releases.
- announced new albums for all my projects, old and new.
- started a new project and released an EP.
- collaborated with an old friend to start another new project and release another EP.
- learned a lot of brand new methods for recording and mixing my music.
- rebuilt and modernized my YouTube channel, got Instagram and Telegram accounts for CRM, and updated my online presence on various other sites.
You could say 2020 was my Renaissance year. I put a lot of effort into rebuilding my projects, recording new music, and overall marketing myself and putting my work back on the map during the last six months – and yet that’s only the beginning. There’s much more to come in 2021 – including already-announced albums from Ebon Arcanum and Northsong – and I hope you’re looking forward to everything as much as I am. Until next year!
P.S.: Ring in the new year the right way and look out for the Gravelord EP on December 31st!
