So, as I wrote a few days ago, I’ve finished recording the debut Shadowforge EP. Now I want to officially share the tracklist for the release – so here it is:
- Growth
- Conjunction
- Voidwatcher
- Breathe
- Coward
- Endgame
As you can see, they’re all one-word titles, which is something I wanted to make sure of throughout the process of writing/recording the EP. In fact, I named the songs first and wrote lyrics that were relevant to the title afterwards.
For the people who have been following me for a long time, you may have also noticed that Voidwatcher makes an appearance here. It’s an older song I wrote almost 10 years ago, when I first launched Shadowforge before discontinuing it a year later. An old recording of Voidwatcher is still on my SoundCloud page (though now it’s been appropriately labelled as a demo version). The EP version of the song has pretty much been completely re-written and revitalized, while still keeping the same soul.
And finally, the last thing I wanted to share with you all is that I’ll be premiering one of these songs, Conjunction, on Friday – so keep an eye out!
