For the few who have been following me for a long time, you might recognize this project. Shadowforge is my Melodic Death Metal project I killed off many years ago – but now it’s back from the dead, and with a vengeance.

Over the last few years I’ve been writing a lot of Melodeath songs similar to the style of my favorite band, Insomnium. These songs were meant to be saved for when I was able to get a band together and used for that, but I realized that I really no longer have an interest in joining or starting a full band. So, why not bring back an old project and release a collection of solid metal tracks at the same time?

That’s where Shadowforge comes in. It has been my passion project for a couple of years now, and I’m beyond excited to finally be able to share it with the world. These songs are going to KICK YOUR ASS! I will be releasing a self-titled EP as Shadowforge later this year.
