Yesterday I began recording different bits and pieces to the anniversary re-release of my first EP, Winter’s Dominion. I mostly just have the keyboards so far, but even that sounds 10 times better than the original. What little guitars I’ve done also sound great compared to the old, static-y sounding versions. I’m also planning to have more bonus tracks than the original, including a couple covers and an acoustic version of a song from my second album, The Final Journey.
This album in particular means a lot to me because it was the first ever release I put out for any of my projects. It was literally the beginning of my ‘career’ as a musician. I still remember 5 years ago when I was trying to manage high school, my job at a local restaurant, and recording WD thinking that it may never be finished. Obviously it all worked out in the end after many months of hard work and determination. This improved version will be the same way! Be looking out for it summer of 2016.
