Northsong/Hvile I Kaos Split Update

Below is a status quoted directly from Hvile I Kaos‘ Facebook page:

“Alright. The hour is nigh to unleash the third and final Kaotic tiding. The tentatively planned split between Hvile I Kaos, Northsong, Curse the Gods and Empyrean Throne (my other band) has been divided into two separate splits. The first, between Hvile I Kaos and Northsong, is going to be released no later than THE LAST WEEK OF DECEMBER. That’s right frostminions. New frostcandy before the year is up. We still have yet to determine exactly what means we will use to distribute the split, other than to say this will likely only be released digitally online. The second split between Empyrean Throne and Curse the Gods is a bit further in the future, given both bands have upcoming records that need to be released first. But in the mean time, Cortland Runyon from Northsong and I look forward to unleashing new material upon you all. But until then, keep it grim.\mm/

I promised I’d have news of this upcoming split, but it turns out Kakophonix delivered first! I don’t have much more to add to this statement other than the fact that the newly re-recorded version of “Mountains of Madness” will be on the split, as well as a brand new ‘new age’ styled track (sort of like the title track to “Winter’s Dominion but less ‘folky’) This track is unlike usual Northsong material, but it is me all the same. Check back toward the end of December to get a hold of this brand new split.
